Testing Lead

Required Skills: • Experience in creating clear test plans and scenarios using HP ALM or similar tools • Proficiency in manual testing with knowledge of when to incorporate automated testing • Ability to build and utilize Test Automation scripts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, UFT) • Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies • Knowledge of Version One or other work management tools • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders • Minimum 5+ years of experience in testing environment • Experience testing in cloud environments, GCP or Azure preferred • Knowledge of SQL for querying databases • Familiarity with postman for Web services testing • Understanding of SDLC and application lifecycle Preferred Skills: • Develop and oversee the testing strategy • Allocate resources effectively for testing activities • Manage automation testers, functional testers, and CAT testers • Assist in identifying appropriate test environments for each release • Collaborate with the Environment Management Team and SCRUM teams • Act as the Testing Lead, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Collaborate and report to the application team leaders, business partners, and ELT on a routine basis • Ability to cross train and mentor the testing team, including other vendors and USPS resources • Responsible for Chaos and HA testing Day-to-day Responsibilities: • The Testing Lead will be responsible for overseeing the testing strategy, resource allocation, and team management for various testing roles including automation testers, functional testers, and CAT testers. • The Testing Lead will work closely with the Environment Management Team and SCRUM teams to identify appropriate test environments per release. • The test lead will also work cross functionally to ensure that the testing requirements are achieved when project integrations are necessary.
