React Native Front-End Developer Intern

As a React Native Developer Intern, you will help build and enhance BottleUp's mobile applications for iOS and Android. You'll contribute to core user experiences, collaborate closely with engineers across the stack, and work on features that directly impact the product's performance and launch readiness. This role is hands-on, fast-moving, and best suited for someone who enjoys taking ownership and shipping quality work. Responsibilities Build and improve user-facing workflows in the BottleUp mobile app (iOS and Android). Implement UI components, product features, and functional enhancements. Diagnose issues, resolve bugs, and improve performance and reliability. Integrate and consume APIs in partnership with backend engineers. Work with source control (Git) and follow team conventions for branching, reviews, and releases. Coordinate with cross-functional team members to ensure smooth delivery across the product. Qualifications Experience building mobile apps with React Native (Expo experience is a plus). Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and component-based UI development. Familiarity with and RESTful API integration. Understanding of Git-based version control workflows. Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and communicating progress clearly. Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience with Stripe Connect. Experience integrating chat or activity feed services (e.g., Stream Chat API). Prior work shipped to the App Store / Google Play or a demonstrable GitHub portfolio.
