Python Developer for Financial Model Risk Management Systems

JOB INFORMATION The project is to develop a Model Risk Management System to use Advanced Analytics and Data Science techniques to establish an efficient, integrated approach to managing risks associated with model development, implementation, and use, better connecting model reviewers with model owners. This position will participate in the full development process for this system with an emphasis on implementation with Python. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS • Play a key role in the requirements generation, analysis, design, implementation, and testing of the Model Risk Management system with Python and other tools necessary. • Enhance the delivery of useful information to those who need it to manage model risks • Use Advanced Analytics and Data Science techniques to efficiently execute automated information governance tasks. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline preferred. • Master’s or Ph.D. preferred • Strong programming experience, preferably including Open Source languages such as Python and R, and familiarity with tools available in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment. • Unix/Linux, SQL, and AWS experience preferred. • Knowledge of Machine Learning modeling techniques, particularly as applied to Natural Language Processing and content analytics, preferred • Experience using graph databases and queries to establish a Knowledge Base and execute intelligent internal search preferred Type: Full-time, Consulting Client: Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac Location: 1100 15th St., N.W., Washington DC 20005 H1B: sponsored Contact: victor@entagile.com Python Developer for Financial Model Risk Management system
