Lead UI/UX Designer

Our client seeks a visionary and experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to shape the future of their digital products. You will be responsible for leading the design vision, user research, and interface development across web and mobile platforms. This position requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, the ability to translate complex user needs into intuitive and engaging interfaces, and a strong portfolio showcasing your design prowess. You will guide a team of talented designers, fostering a creative and collaborative environment, and ensuring design consistency and quality across all product lines. Responsibilities include conducting user research, creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, and conducting usability testing to validate design decisions. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define user journeys, information architecture, and interaction design. A key part of this role involves staying ahead of industry trends and emerging design technologies, advocating for best practices, and mentoring junior designers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading design projects from concept to launch, with a strong emphasis on measurable outcomes and user satisfaction. Expertise in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role, is preferred. You should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and defend design decisions effectively.
