In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Build, optimize, and manage cloud‑native systems such as Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources
• Document, maintain, improve, and validate infrastructure and related work products
• Contribute actively to Agile development processes, including planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate closely with teammates to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure platform solutions that support Emerson’s global customers

For This Role, You Will Need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related STEM field
• Five or more years’ experience operating large‑scale infrastructure systems in a production environment
• Experience working with any modern programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Go, C#, or others
• Experience with Kubernetes, including cluster lifecycle, networking, upgrades, and helm charts, as well as container technologies such as Docker
• Experience using cloud services and configuration management tools such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and team-based development practices
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available)
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
• Experience with Azure pipelines, cloud services, and management tools
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps
• Experience optimizing performance and scalability of infrastructure systems
• Understanding of service discovery, load balancing, or service mesh technologies
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools
• Familiarity with observability and telemetry tools
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the United States
