Job Title: Front-End Engineer (React / Next.js) Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ (Hybrid/Onsite) Employment Type: Contract / W2 / C2C Criminal Background Check is required Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Engineer with strong React.js and Next.js experience to build modern, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JavaScript, component-based architecture, and performance optimization for high-traffic web platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js • Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable code • Build reusable components and front-end libraries • Integrate applications with REST APIs • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility • Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineering teams • Debug and resolve UI and performance issues Required Skills • 5+ years of front-end development experience • Strong hands-on experience with React.js • Strong hands-on experience with Next.js • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 • Experience with REST API integration • Familiarity with Git and modern build tools (Webpack, NPM, Babel) Preferred Skills • TypeScript • Redux or other state management libraries • Understanding of SSR/SSG concepts in Next.js • Experience with Jest, Cypress, or similar testing frameworks • CI/CD pipeline experience
