About the Role

We’re expanding our front-end team to support ongoing enhancements and accessibility improvements for an existing, large-scale online language assessment platform. You’ll join a coachable, collaborative group of HTML/CSS coders working through several hundred items sequentially—updating, validating, and ensuring compliance and usability.What You’ll DoUpdate and refine existing HTML/CSS across assessment items to ensure accessibility and modern compliance.Work within text editors inside the codebase to make targeted front-end changes.Implement and validate JavaScript adjustments as needed for behavior and interaction.Execute accessibility checks (e.g., headings, landmarks, semantic markup, color contrast, focus order).Validate screen reader support (e.g., JAWS) and keyboard navigation.Use Chrome to review changes, test behaviors, and verify UI/UX integrity.Collaborate with devs/testers to triage issues—flag, define, and hand off bugs for remediation.Contribute to continuous improvement of testing and accessibility workflows.
