Developer Intern (AI/Python + NodeJs)

About the Role We are looking for a Developer (AI/Python + Node.js) to design, build, and maintain intelligent backend systems and APIs that power our AI‑driven products. You will work closely with data scientists and product teams to integrate machine‑learning models into production services, design scalable Node.js APIs, and contribute to our AI‑infrastructure stack. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Python services for AI/ML workflows, including model serving, data pipelines, and inference engines. • Build and optimize Node.js APIs and microservices that expose AI capabilities to front‑end and third‑party applications. • Integrate and productionize machine‑learning models (e.g., from PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face) into scalable backend systems. • Design and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs with strong focus on performance, reliability, and security. • Write clean, testable code with unit and integration tests, and participate in code reviews. • Collaborate with data scientists to translate research prototypes into robust, production‑ready services. • Monitor and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, latency issues, and errors in AI and API layers. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and deployment on cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure). Required Skills and Qualifications • 1+ years of professional software development experience. • Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with AI/ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar. • Solid experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services. • Familiarity with async programming, event‑driven architectures, and microservices. • Comfortable working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). • Understanding of software engineering best practices: testing, version control (Git), CI/CD, and code quality. • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and communicate technical concepts clearly. Preferred Skills • Experience deploying and serving ML models in production (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or custom model servers). • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker). • Familiarity with message queues or event systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis). • Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or similar) is a plus, as you may occasionally collaborate on full‑stack features.
