Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

McLean, VA February 10, 2026 We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to support cloud infrastructure initiatives for a large financial services organization. This role is heavily focused on AWS networking, infrastructure design, and operational reliability within a regulated, enterprise environment. ‍Qualifications: • Currently hold the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional Certification • Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking, including: • VPC architecture, CIDR design, subnets, and route tables • Security Groups and NACLs • VPC Peering and Transit Gateway • VPN and/or Direct Connect • Application and Network Load Balancers, Route 53 • Experience troubleshooting complex network connectivity and performance issues • Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, and enterprise best practices • Experience supporting high-availability, highly regulated environments Responsibilities • Design, support, and maintain AWS core platform infrastructure • Provide deployment and production support for AWS services • Support networking, security, authentication, and authorization • Develop and maintain CloudFormation templates • Ensure platform stability, scalability, and reliability
